Pod is a fitness app for a group you already have. You invite four or five people by code, agree on something to compete at, and the app scores it from the health data your phone or watch already records. There is no public feed, no follower count, and nobody outside your pod can see anything.
It reads nine daily metrics from Apple Health or Health Connect, shows what your week actually looked like, and ranks a challenge against whichever metric the group picked. Once a week, premium members get a short written reflection on their own training.
Pod is being built now and is not yet available to download. iOS comes first; the Android build is developed alongside it. We will list it here when a public beta opens.
The metrics screen shows today against your seven-day average, so a number has some context rather than sitting on its own.
A challenge scores everyone in the pod against one metric over a fixed date range. The day count next to each member is there so a leaderboard cannot be won quietly by a phone that stopped recording.

Once a week, Pod writes a short reflection on the previous week of training — what the numbers show, and one thing worth trying next. It is generated by a third-party AI provider, Anthropic, and we are specific about what that involves because it is the one part of Pod that sends anything anywhere it does not have to.
The provider receives weekly averages only — never your individual daily readings, never anyone else's data in your pod, and no name, email address or account identifier. It is not asked who you are, and it is not told.
Pod is not a medical device. The weekly reflection describes activity you recorded; it does not diagnose, treat, or advise on any medical condition, and it is not a substitute for a clinician.
Weekly reflections are planned as part of a paid tier. Subscriptions are not open yet.
The privacy policy sets out exactly which metrics are sent, to whom, and what is done with them.
